你係咪痴總掣呀?

“你nei5hai6mai6ci1zung2zai3aa3?” means “are you insane?” in English, having a literal meaning of “are you short-circuited?”. You say so to somebody who has done something insane.

For instance, your friend suddenly shout “頂你個肺呀”to your professor in class. You will immediately ask him “你係咪痴總掣呀?” to express your surprise to his weird behaviour.

In the audio clip, you can hear the expression two times. The first time is spoken more slowly for you to distinguish the sounds and for the second time it is spoken with normal speed and with emotion. Try and practise it with your friends!!!
