daan6 taat1 is a dessert in Hong Kong which is a kind of egg tart. The crispy tart with sweet and hot egg custard is quite different from the tarts in western countries.

The egg tart in this photo comes from the Tai Cheong Bakery which is located in Central on the Hong Kong Island. The Tai Cheong Bakery is famous for its egg tarts and it is the favourite choice of egg tarts of the former British governor of Hong Kong- Christopher Patten.
