The expression “真係弊家leu1 (similar to the sound of “nail” in English)呀zan1hai6bai6ga1leu1aa3” corresponds to “darn it” in English. You use it when something goes out of your control.
For example, you wake up at midnight suddenly and realize that there will be an exam tomorrow early in the morning at 8:30a.m. but you have prepared nothing for it. You will then shout “真係弊家leu1呀!” and quickly rush to do revision.
In the audio clip, you can hear the expression two times. The first time is spoken more slowly for you to distinguish the sounds and for the second time it is spoken with normal speed and with emotion. Try and practise it with your friends!!!
